Many women from towns find jobs in Bangalore but struggle to secure a place of stay to fit their limited budgets. To serve such women and to provide them accommodation at reasonable rates in Bangalore the Lokasundari Raman Working Women’s Hostel was set up in 1979. The rooms and dormitories in the Lokasundari Raman Working Women’s Hostel are in great demand through the year. Centrally located, it is truly a home away from home for about 100 young women.
