Many newly employed young women from marginalised families or who have grwon up in institutions seek jobs in Bangalore while others receive stipendiary grants to undergo apprenticeship training while still others wish to persue college education or skill training. For these young women with dreams for an economic independence and for the rural trainees at our Balasevika Training Institute and the Anganwadi Training Centre, the Annapurna Mess and Hostel offers subsidised boarding and lodging and a safe and secure haven in the city of Bangalore.

The Annapurna Mess is the catering wing of the Annapurna Hostel and is in great demand whenever our own projects or other Ngos run training programmes on our premises.
