Anganwadi Training Programme |

| The Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) of the government is the backbone of all services for the underprivileged pre-school children of rural and urban India. The functional, grassroots level unit of this scheme is the Anganwadi which is run by a local woman, the Anganwadi teacher who brings to the children and mothers of the community, the programmes of the ICDS. |

| The onus of training the Anganwadi teachers is on non-governmental organisations such as ours. The Anganwadi Training Centres in Karnataka, located at Bangalore is supervised by us while the Anganwadi Training Centre located at Chickmagalur, Tumkur, Davangere and Madikere are supervised by our respective District Councils. |
